Also; if you copy & paste the password, an extra blank space can copy at the end of the password. This will render it invalid. Please ensure that only the text of the password is highlighted, or try typing it in manually.

If you are still having issues, you can reset your password using the "Forgot Password" link just below the login area. If you are using IE, and you are still warned about missing or out-of-date software, you can ignore those warnings and continue on with the installation step.

This step is intended to warn you if software required to view the training videos is missing altogether, or if the proper version cannot be detected. If you already have the software in question installed, and your version is later than the warning prompt lists, it's possible that it cannot "see" the version that you have installed. For the Adobe Reader (for instance) this can happen if Acrobat was installed before the Reader, if the versions don't match, etc...

If you are confident that you have the required software, you can ignore the warning on that step & move forward.

"No Licenses" appears next to one or more of my courses

Abstract:
Question: Why does "No License" appear next to one or more of the courses in my course list?

Answer: Each course in your library comes with a single license for each licensed user. If you purchased one license, you can only assign courses to one user profile (be that the Admin account, or a user profile that you create).

Once you have assigned a course to your profile, the words "No License" will appear next to that course. This only means that you have already added that course to your profile, so you cannot add it again. You can now view that course by logging into your account, clicking on the "Courses" link in the left hand menu, highlighting the course you would like to view from your course list & then clicking on the "Launch Module" button.

Where do I find my sample code and lab files now that I have purchased them?

Abstract:
Question: Where do I find my sample code and lab files now that I have purchased them?

Answer: When you purchase the sample files, lab files or written courseware chapters for your training library; they will be available within 24 hours of your purchase. These are secured files, so they can only be viewed using a viewing application available for download in your account. Instructions for how to do this can be found on page 7 of our online user guide:

http://online.learndevnow.com/userguide.pdf

If you are seeing an "Access Denied" or "Unauthorized Access" message when attempting to view your courseware eBook files; you may need to remove and re-register the license key for your eBook viewing application. To do this, please go to:

Start > All Programs > Locklizard > Lizard Safeguard > PDF Viewer > Remove Keystore

Click "Yes" to the warning prompt and, once that is successfully removed, you will need to send a new registration email to yourself. You can do this within the "Profile" area of your online LearnNow training account, by clicking on the "Resend license key" button. Once you receive the new email, please use the new license key attached to that email to license your Lock Lizard software again.

If you continue to have issues, please contact us using the "Create Ticket" link on the main support page:

http://support.learndevnow.com

Where do I find my Courseware eBooks?

Abstract:
Question: Where do I find my Courseware eBooks now that I have purchased them?

Answer: Page 7 of our online user guide does a good job of explaining how to setup the new courseware that you have purchased:

http://online.learndevnow.com/userguide.pdf

Once you have downloaded and registered the viewing application for the eBooks, as described on page 7 in the user guide listed above, you can access that courseware by clicking on the "Courseware" button in the menu to the left side of your training video screen. This will drop down a list of all chapters that are available for whatever video you are viewing at the time.

I didn't receive my confirmation email

Abstract:
Question: I did not receive my confirmation email after placing my order

Answer: Our confirmation emails contain links and installation codes; because of this they can be caught by spam filters or junk email folders (Gmail accounts seem to be particularly sensitive to this). Please check any junk or spam folders that you have for your confirmation email. If you are still unable to locate your email, please submit a support ticket.

"Warning: The system indicates that this user is currently running the LearnDevNow Learning Engine and is viewing the following course"

Abstract:
Question: I'm getting the following message when I try to login to my online account:<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

"Warning: The system indicates that this user is currently running the LearnDevNow Learning Engine and is viewing the following course: Exploring Silverlight 2.
